The RSPCA Today

We stayed to volunteer for about an hour before we had finished everything, I guess I should shlow down and the task would take me longer but me and my mum (who volunteers with me) were done in 90 minutes. We sorted out the men’s clothing, rag bagged a few older cloths and put all of the cloths in order on hangers on the rail.

To be honest, I love volunteering for the RSPCA, I believe I am helping animals as much as I can, I just wish that there was more that I could do. I decided to buy myself a pair of jeans, which I gave a donation for, which is also a help to the animals.

I have not been on the till in a good while, that is the main job of the other volunteers, certain other staff members sort with us, others price and some stay on the till. Generally I try to do a bit of everything, anything that they need me to do.

The RSPCA shop in Cleethorpes is opening on Sundays again for the summer starting from tomorrow, so in future I will be volunteering on a Sunday instead of a Saturday, 11:00AM - 3:00PM. Pop in and buy something!
